Twenty junior footballers of Odisha left here today to join a coaching camp, which is scheduled to be held at Tata Football Academy (TFA) in Jamshedpur from July 2 to 11. The players, selected from Bhubaneswar School League, Inter-District Junior Junior Tournament and Biju Patnaik Gold Cup Tournament, were given a warm send-off by Unit-VI Athletic Association, which arranged the tour programme in association with Tata Steel for the seventh year.
Former internationals Bijay Kumar and Mohammad Kaushar would impart coaching in the TFA camp, said Unit-VI Athletic Association secretary Dilip Das. Before leaving for Jamshedpur the players participated in a six-day-long preparatory camp here at Unit-6 High School Ground.
